Exceptional Psychologists, MFTs, LPCs, and LCSWs
Dodini Behavioral Health in Arlington, VA, is pleased to announce that we are seeking to expand our team of dedicated, exceptional mental health professionals. DBH provides long-term, comprehensive psychotherapy to adult individuals, couples, families, and groups in the greater DC area. We are seeking licensed or license eligible therapists to join our clinical team in either full or part-time capacities. Our clinicians work autonomously and in teams, collaborating in co-therapy relationships to provide the very best client care available. We are a diverse group with a variety of areas of expertise and theoretical orientation, sharing a common desire to work relationally and experientially.

The ideal candidate will bring a unique personal background of life experience and professional training, as well as the personality, skill, and style to deliver that expertise in a way that can deeply connect with clients and team members.
We are specifically looking for clinicians who have interest in and a passion for couples and group psychotherapy and/or who are EMDR certified. Candidates should have experience with a broad range of conditions including trauma, anxiety/mood issues, relational concerns, and behavioral concerns. Preference will be given to clinicians who have training and/or experience in group, EFT or Gottman couples methods, EMDR, and/or DBT.
This W-2 position can be either part time or full time. Full time status includes a 401(K) Retirement plan with 3% company contribution, health and vision benefits, and highly competitive commission rates. Our clinicians set ambitious goals for income and life balance and we help each other achieve those goals. Our criteria of full time status is a caseload of twenty clinical hours, but more can certainly be available.
We highly value continued learning through supervision, our own therapy, and professional development. All employees, including part time and full time status, are eligible for up to $1000/year reimbursement for supervision/professional development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist, marriage & family therapist, social worker, and/or professional counselor
- Couples therapy experience or passion is essential with preference for EFT certification.
- EMDR certification highly desirable
- Group therapy experience highly desirable
- Hunger for personal and professional growth via supervision and personal psychotherapy
- Motivation to grow a case load and pursue excellent psychotherapy
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a co-therapy team
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide psychological and therapeutic services to a range of clientele
- Conduct clinical consultations and diagnostic assessments
- Prepare documentation, correspondence and reports when requested
- Create and manage relationships with the community and referring partners
- Actively engage in the development and maintenance of a vibrant caseload
- Maintain proper and correct records–both clinical and financial– within our electronic medical record system.
